This contest should showcase your best quality work, demonstrating at least moderate skill with a camera and a general understanding of the artistic aspects of photography. Submitter Rules:

Thanks guys! I actually took 2 shots of this tree and I personally prefer the portrait orientation. Initially, I didn't even process the landscape orientation but I really wanted to submit a B&W this week so I used the same processing including the grain for the landscape. –  Jakub Oct 11 '12 at 14:10
