I might have added them in reverse chronological order, just so the newest ones are at the top (ie. if you were trying to catch up after missing a few weeks, you woudn't have to scroll to the bottom). –  seanmc Feb 1 '11 at 22:51

Nice idea! Very cool to see the winners all in one place! –  chills42 Feb 7 '11 at 20:57

It's great to see these photos. They're a great source of inspiration into what can be captured and shown. –  Jason TEPOORTEN Nov 2 '12 at 22:13

I haven't been back to photography much recently, except to come and check on the hall of fame. I'm sure I've said it before, but every time I'm blown away by the quality and diversity and downright awesomeness of your weekly photos! –  Benjol Feb 14 '13 at 6:44

I love that this is available. However, I'm thinking that, as a "Hall of Fame", it should also list the name of the contributor and the title of the photo?

I guess, as this is a community wiki, I could do that myself, but I don't want to do it if nobody else thinks it is a good idea.

@tomm89, @friol, Oops forgot to comment that that's [status-completed] now (in the mouseover). –  Benjol Mar 14 '11 at 6:21

I'll see if I can find some time to note the photographers account names in the near future. –  jrista Sep 1 '11 at 22:49

I should have some time to go through and take care of adding the photographer names this weekend. Its freezing cold, and I've taken care of everything else I really need to do, so I finally have time. –  jrista Dec 7 '11 at 18:31

Two thoughts:

  • It could be this thread. Just make it Community Wiki.
  • IMO it should definitely be in Meta.

I can't make it Community Wiki (can't find the checkbox)... maybe all posts on meta already are? –  friol Feb 1 '11 at 7:24

That would be worth doing, just to have the archive all in one place. Anyone who came along could easily browse through the past selections. The meta site would be the best location, as that is where the photo threads are hosted anyway.

Not to mention, mine would be first (I know, I'm bragging...)

I love most of the photos in the hall of fame. I just wonder why there's no picture about persons as main theme yet? (which are my favorites pictures).
